How to be saved from the fire of lust and anger? Based on Sikhan di Bhagat Mala by Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Ji   ਮਲੂਸਾਹੀ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਵਡਾ ਭਗਤੁ ਭਾਈ ਕੇਦਾਰੀ ॥ A Sikh named Mallu Shahi was very brave and Bhai Kedari was a great devotee.                                                                                                      Bhai Gurdas Ji, Vaar 11   Bhai Kedari came to the sanctuary of Guru Angad Dev Ji and made a request. He said, ‘Guru Ji, the whole world is burning is the fire of kaam (lust) and kordh (anger), however, You can, please protect me.’ Guru Sahib spoke, ‘When the forest burns, the deer jumps into the river to seek protection. Just like this, the world is engulfed with lust and anger, and Sadh Sangat (congregation of the holy) is the river that saves us and cools us. Those who dive into the reading and contemplation of Gurbani Shabad, their mind becomes calm and composed. Therefore, you should always go into Sadh Sangat and do the seva of the Sikhs.

REHATNAMA BHAI PRAHLAAD SINGH  Image 1: The court of the Tenth Master BHAI PRAHLAAD SINGH JI Bhai Prahlaad Rai was a court poet of the Tenth Master in Poanta Sahib. Bhai Sahib was given the responsibility by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to translate 50 Upanishads from Persian language to Brij language.
