What My Journey Taught Me

What my journey taught me.

On my way to Singapore and I look out the window.
Reading Eckhart Tolle, trying to connect to my soul.
I look at the trees 🌳, of all different heights shapes and colour and I asked
Don’t they feel fear? Or worry?

Guru spoke,

Sir Sir Rijak Sanbaahae Thaakur Kaahae Man Bho Kariaa ||2||
My Lord has alsoready cared for the well being and sustenance of every being, leaf and insect, then why is there a need to worry?

Looking at the tree,
I learnt truth is straight like the bark of a tree
I learnt humility as how it bends when it bears fruit
I learnt compassion as it takes in carbon dioxide and gives out clean fresh oxygen.
I learnt contentment as it never complains or agitates when there is no sun, or water or it gets cut off.
I learnt patience as it takes years for the small tree to grow high up to reach the sunlight.

Why is there a need to worry then O my mind? If My Guru can give these qualities to a tree, then surely He will care for me too. ❤
