Q: How is Ego removed or destroyed?

Pun = pure Naam, Aaeiao = has come, Hin = ego, Ddol = has been shaken, Panch = five, Naar = koshas, Sang = and, Astt = eight, Sut = components
Explanation: Those Gurmukhs, whom in their hearts the pure Naam has permeated, their Ego has been shaken and through the contemplation of the Five Koshas, the Ego of the companionship of the physical body which is made up of eight components, has been disciplined or controlled.

Bones, marrow, blood, skin, muscle, plasma, reproductive fluid/semen, nerves

Q: Whose thought waves that originate from the body, have been dispelled?

Outhehi = arise, Taan = physical body, Kalol = thoughts/doubt,
Explanation: Those who connect their thought current to God, their thoughts and doubts rise and leave (are dispelled).

Q: Who knows how to worship one’s Atma (Brahm)?

A: Thaelangee Dhaevakaree Aaee
Explanation: For the Gurmukhs, they learnt to worship their Brahm Atma, once they had crossed the three qualities (of Maya).

Q: What is gained by acceptance of God’s Will?

A: Basanthee Sandhoor Suhaaee
Explanation: Ignorance (referred to as a woman) has come into control and the illusion of the beautiful maya has appropriately distanced itself.

Q: How to obtain the Light Form (God)?

A: Saras Aheeree Lai Bhaarajaa
Explanation: The Gurmukhs have with love, destroyed the female snake like sensory organs, and upon obtaining the Light Form Brahm, they have become filled with contentment.
Personal Note: The Light Form (God) is obtained only through Divine Love.

Q: With whom have the Gurmukhs attached their thought current?

A: Sang Laaee Paancho Aarajaa
Explanation: The Gurmukhs have attached their thought current to the Superior Conscious Being.

Q: In where was God obtained?

A: Suramaanandh Bhaasakar Aaeae
Explanation: The mind, which is the son of Maya, God enlightened in it His Knowledge and was obtained.
Personal Note: The mind is part of the Atma which in turn is a reflection of Brahm. As explained in personal notes of earlier questions, the Atma is only a reflection of the Brahm due to ignorance. The ignorance is caused or given birth to by Maya. Hence, the mind is considered the son of Maya.

Q: (Can you) describe the illmunination of the Light in the hearts (minds)?

A: Chandhrabinb Mangalan Suhaaeae
Explanation: Just as the reflection of the light from the moon looks beautiful in earthen pots (filled with water); Such Blissful Light looks beautiful in the hearts of Gurmukhs.

Q: What benefit is obtained from arrows of love?

A: Sarasabaan Ao Aahi Binodhaa
Explanation: Those Gursikhs whose hearts are filled with arrows of love, then, for them there is only bliss which is void of delusion and deception.

Q: What benefit is obtained by singing with Love?

A: Gaavehi Saras Basanth Kamodhaa
Explanation: Those who sing (Praises) of God, their white lotus like hearts are filled by bliss,  by the moon like, True Guru Nanak.

Q: Describe Vairag and other Sadhanas?

A: Asatt Puthr Mai Kehae Savaaree
Explanation: Those Saints who practise the following eight sadhnas (1. Vairag, 2. Bibek, 3. Khat Sampati, 4. Mukti Isha, 5. Sarvan, 6. Mannan, 7. Nidiasan, 8. Tat Toang Da Sadan), they speak clearly about my Pure Timeless Being (God).
1.       Vairag- To denounce all worldly things  right up to Brahm Lok (Brahma Devta’s world). To remove all other desires with the exception of desire for God.
2.       Bibek- (A conviction) that Brahm is a Timeless Being whereas the world and the physical body is destructible.
3.       Khat Sampati-A type of Sadhna which consists of six qualities)
a.       Sam-To restrict the mind from the sensory desires
b.       Dam-To restrict the sensory organs from vices (Lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego)
c.       Sardha- To have faith that the Guru’s Word is the Truth and It will liberate me from death.
d.       The stopping of the mind’s wandering behaviour.
e.       Upram-Together with the sadhna of sensory desires all related deeds or actions are stopped, to consider all sensory desires as poison and run away from them (meaning to refrain from enjoyment of sensory desires).  If the eyes happen to fall upon a vice related behaviour, a disgusted feeling is felt in the heart.
f.        Tetishia-To naturally withstand heat from the sun, cold weather, hunger and thirst while engrossed in Guru’s seva.
4.       Mukti Icha- The obtaining of Brahm and the subsequent destuction of worldy pain is the form of Memokh (liberation of the Atma). The desire for mukti is called Memokhta.
5.       Sravan- To strengthen the faith in the teachings of Vedas* by the practise of six traits (ways). To listen to Naam with a focused and calm memory. (Meaning a one pointed silent remembrance of God in the form of listening to Naam)
6.       Upkarm- To start at a certain context or idea and; (Upshar) To end at the same context (To start with the Without Duality context (of God) and to end with same Without Duality context).

Q: What is the purpose of this chance of human life form?

Explanation: While transmigrating in the cycle of eighty four, a chance of the human life form is obtained, to enable meeting the Light Form God.

Q: How to remove bad thinking?

A: Kashhaelee Pattmanjaree Ttoddee Kehee Alaap
Explanation: The ugly intellect which was inclined towards evil and cheating, was deeply rooted in the heart, and has been uprooted. The gurmukhs sing the praises of the Native and Conscious Witness, and encourage others to do the same.
Personal Note: The removal of bad thoughts is done by singing praises of God through Naam Japna. The Conscious Being is Brahm which bears Witness to all that happens around it without being affected by any of it. It is considered native because it is present in the body and not just in a faraway foreign location.

Q: How can good/noble intellect be enlightened ?

A: Kaamodhee Ao Goojaree Sang Dheepak Kae Thhaap
Explanation: The bad intellect which had bloomed in the sensual pleasures like the night  blooming lotus flower, it has  then passed on. The good intellect has come to reside together with The Light Form.
Personal Note:  An impure intellect filled with filth of bad deeds of the past will give birth to evil thoughts which in turn         will encourage more bad deeds. Only Guru can erase these bad deeds and the resultant evil thoughts through His Grace. Guru is the Light Form that enlightens the intellect with noble thoughts.

Q: Have bad qualities been removed?

A: Kaalankaa Kunthal Ao Raamaa
Explanation: The stigmas that were created as a result of the black sins, have then gone away.

Q: How did the memory faculty become pure?

A: Kamalakusam Chanpak Kae Naamaa
Explanation: By doing a continuous recitation of Naam, one becomes unspoiled like the Lotus Flower and pure like the Champa Flower.

Q: Which thing do Gurmukhs consider to be great in their hearts?

A: Gouraa Ao Kaanaraa Kalyaanaa
Explanation:In the hearts fo Gurmukhs,  there is glory of Naam, and , after obtaining the Forms of Happines and Motivator, they have become Liberated.
Personal Note: Obtaining Forms of Happiness and Motivator means obtaining God. He is the true Form of Happiness and He is the one who motivates and encourages all from within. Once God is realised from within then one becomes liberated from the cycle of 84.

Q: At what price is God acquired/obtained?

A: Asatt Puthr Dheepak Kae Jaanaa
Explanation: God, who can only be understood with Divine Knowledge, cannot be obtained without paying for Him with the purity of Sadhana.
Personal Note: The four sadhna are Vairag, Bibek, Khat Sampati and Mukti Icha. Please refer to Question 33 personal notes. The practice of the four sadhna is compulsory and a prerequisite price that has to be paid to obtain God.
